Our Library

Our library, designed to be the highlight of the office after a major renovation carried out in 2020, is composed of the collection accumulated by Professor Renan Lotufo throughout his life, with national and foreign, historical and current works related to Private Law.

Named in honor of Professor Lotufo, it is one of the largest and best private libraries of Private Law in Brazil, consisting of more than four thousand titles, including textbooks and casebooks, collective works, legal citation guides, law dictionaries, legal history, and jurisprudence books.

Currently, the library is maintained by Dr. João Lotufo, son of Prof. Renan, and partner at Lotufo & Cordelli. We provide access to students and researchers, especially to those who, in some way, had academic contact with Prof. Renan and his library in the past. With that, following the wishes of Prof. Renan Lotufo, the library continues to encourage the study of Law, especially Civil Law!
